Warranty

All Wiley X eyewear is warranted to the original purchaser for life against manufacturing defect in materials and workmanship (except Light Adjusting (L.A.) lenses which have a tint adjustment life of 18 months, and Remington branded products which are warranted for 12 months. Upon receiving returned eyewear that Wiley X determines to be defective, we will repair or replace it, at our option.

If the warranty claim has been approved by Wiley X and the customer’s original frame is no longer available, the eyewear may be replaced with a model of equal value, as chosen by customer. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratched lenses, accidental damage, misuse, and other issues determined by Wiley X not to be a manufacturer's defect. For any claims to be valid product must have been purchased from an authorized Topace Pty Ltd dealer and must include a copy of receipt of purchase.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

 

Prescription Warranties

 

Further to the above warranty policy, the following additional conditions apply should the claim be in regards to a frame fitted with prescription lenses. If the model needing repair or replacement has been deleted from the Wiley X range, a new replacement frame of equal value may be provided. Please note the warranty does not extend to the production, grinding and fitting of new prescription lenses to suit the replacement frame.

Please note: A processing fee of $10.00 applies to all warranty claims. This fee includes return postage. Lifetime warranty does not apply to eyewear sold before March 31, 2009. Sales prior to this date had been covered under warranty for 12 months.
